Tim @20kad.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Picked up my dad's remains today. Still haven't come to terms with him being gone. The relief that he is no longer suffering from cancer is quickly replaced with the fact he is no longer here. We'll see how long it takes for that emptiness to go away. 100

I think I was the only person he didn't have a contentious relationship with. Well, me and his grand daughters. My brother and him butted heads. He and my sister had similar personalities. 000

My favorite memory is sitting between him and my brother when we were driving home from somewhere and they both sang along to The Sign by Ace of Base. Its hard to articulate the significance behind the moment but it felt like the ending of a movie. 000

These commanders helped me learn about the commander community and how I wanted to evolve as a player. Also a quick lesson into kill on site. Lol. 000

I felt I was falling into a depression, I always liked fantasy - video games left me feeling empty and D&D was too much of a commitment from others. A friend recommended magic and sold it with LoTR. 000
