Do you have more than $100,000 in assets (aka, do you own a home?) If so, you're in the top 1/2 of wealth. www.statista.com/statistics/2...

True Stereotype: Babies can't do Calculus False Prejudice: Teen's can't do Calculus. What are the inclusionary and/or exclusionary criteria swamping a statement from Stereotype to Prejudice?

Genius is a comparative word, standing on the shoulders of idiots. Seriously. An Individual/Action/Creation is Genius when compared to a large number of poor quality/outcome actions. Without the LARGE number of failures, Genius label won't apply. #philsky

Better example: Elementary Kids can't do Calculus. Generally a Truthful stereotype. However, their age isn't a limiting factor, and some Kids can do Calculus. When this Statement is made, details matter on if it's prejudicial or a stereotype.

A Politician will 'frequently' make truthful statements like: "I would like form A1" "Inquire about this for me, and report back" "Those shoes look nice on you"

Truth @1truth.bsky.social · 05/09/2026
Summing up... Prejudice is an 'incorrect' stereotype. Sample selection bias: Assuming you work in a support staff role for politicians, the statement of Politicians Lie would be prejudicial. Their speech to you is Truthful more often then speech by other groups.

David Treuer wrote enjoyable comedy. "Reservations" are 'known' as a place Indian's live off Gov't handouts. As a young adult, David announces he's from a Reservation, and is then surprised when people assume he is only 'alive' due to the effort of others, rather than his own hard work.

Opinion | I Went to Princeton to Become a So-So Indian
I realized that in this country Indians were not supposed to be happy or to pursue happiness. We were supposed to suffer and to pursue suffering.

Still unsure in my mind Is "Prejudice" conveying 'the idea' Listener uses non-verbal info to evaluate Truth? Example, Police testimony is assumed to be from a trained observer and 'unburdened' towards a specific viewpoint. Either assumption 'could' be wrong. But with time limited, how to judge?

Truth @1truth.bsky.social · 26/08/2026
And a listener's 'positive' Prejudice, like assuming someone has a PHD on the topic spoken of, isn't T.I. because the audience is offering more credibility, then they deserve(?)

Truth @1truth.bsky.social · 26/08/2026
I'm still reading through your paper - although confused. Seems like "Testimonial Injustice" is applied Prejudice, in a negative only scope. Aka, Prejudice is an attribute held by the listener. T.I. is a descriptor on the speaker.

Commonsense is neither common or intelligently sensical. Knowledge is not Common. Everyone has different knowledge levels, and 'lacks' knowledge others consider common. Basing decisions on what you can see/smell/hear is a poor decision when it comes to computers. Most action is out of sight.

1. You're probably right. 2. Doesn't matter. A word's inventor doesn't maintain control of the term. He used the term to describe a concept. Society decided the term should describe something else.

Because it's cheaper. We all will have our own hospital bills at some point. The cost of bill collection (both Hospital Side and Insurance Side) is folded into the cost of medical care. By eliminating this giant expense, we all become wealthier.

1. It's Socialism; Communism is single party rule (almost like we have now....but I digress) 2. Our water authority is socialist. Other than Flint MI, who ever complains about our socialist water? 3. Downside of 'any' gov't provided service is Social Standing. "I" can't be the Water Baron. Sad.

True-ish. Not GPS, a car, nor electricity at all. Human's can survive without these things. But with them, we thrive.

Sincere question - have you existed prior to GPS? It's as convenient as the car. So yes, a useful tool, while an alternative exists. Getting somewhere new, without GPS (or an internet map), is extremely difficult. The activity of Geocaching would be impossible.

Incentives are misaligned. Dating apps stop getting paid once their 'job' of finding a partner is complete. Users are also their own enemy. Users need to pay money, time and knowledge to 'get' a quality date/relationship. We need Relationship 'schools' which teach HOW to create/sustain a R.

Common sense is not common, or smart. It's the old wives tale knowledge, passed down by generations. And it's only common within your ancestry chain. Others with different ancestry have different 'common' sense.

By this logic, aren't pet's slaves? They don't have the freedom to chose a different owner, or no owner. And working animals especially, would be considered slaves. Why dive into an imaginary world, when the real world has this issue?

Pt 1. Curious, everyone is 'privileged' in some way. We all have a benefit given to 'me', but excluded to some others. And, we all are Marginalized in some way. With a benefit 'I' lack, that some others are given. How does your research apply, when an individual is both privileged and marginalized?
