I'm not trying to be dismissive here but I'm not sure what you are trying to communicate with that article

System 76 isn't cheap but probably cheaper than importing from Tuxedo/Nova/Starlabs/etc if you are in the USA When I wrote "used" I meant "at least one model revision old" - it takes a year or two for people to write drivers & get them upstreamed to the kernel Also useful: ubuntu.com/certified/la...

I'm recommending against Framework b/c in addition to financially supporting fascists their laptops also have many firmware issues, awful customer support, and mediocre build quality. I'd recommend a linux specific vendors others mentioned or a used business laptop from Lenovo/Dell/HP(in that order)

IDK why but torrenting sites don't seem to have much music. Soulseek has you covered though

Sorry to necro, but I think they are referencing this

Manga page with an older teen explaining how netplay will always add latency to fighting games to a younger teen

Dramatic full page panel with older teen looking back over his shoulder, away from a row of arcade cabinets and towards the viewer saying "Our world moves in incriments of 1/60th of a second. The speed of light is too slow for us".

Mini-vacuums can cause static shocks, you really want to be using compressed air instead

This might be a long shot, but how old is the CMOS battery in your computer? When I dug a mobo out of storage last year I was having trouble getting it to post because of memory errors even with known good dimms but a battery replacement fixed the problem. Fingers crossed for your ram!

I think if this was a systemic problem within the Marathon team there would be a lot more stolen art in a lot more places taken from more artists placed by more workers

It was a low level employee, not a contractor iirc. Every single piece of stolen art linked below. imo more likly a lazy bastard phoned in their job b4 they quit/were fired than it was official policy was to steal art but only 4 times cdn.xcancel.com/pic/orig/207... cdn.xcancel.com/pic/0A06A20C...

Art theft is bad, but lets not blow this out of proportion. One artist who didn't last long at Bungie stole four textures, that isn't exactly an entire portfolio

I'm not that worried tbh. I don't think Sony wants to build a reputation for rapidly shuting down thier games (I think its fair to say that the Concord situation has hurt Marathon) & other games w/ a rocky start (R6 Siege, Hunt Showdown, Destiny) have bounced back b4 old.reddit.com/r/Marathon/c...

old.reddit.com

Sony finally talks on Marathon's future, despite a lackluster total portfolio, plan is is to support Marathon with more content, not shut it down.

CNET got invited to Valve HQ for the anouncement and sent woman w/ v. small hands. In the coments here she says it was comfortable for her and compared it to a Dualsense. CNET split up their coverage in confusing ways, idk if she had more in depth thoughts elsewhere www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKWw...

He is also the source for the ~$225 mil budget number that keeps getting thrown around. He got that number by multiplping the avg Bungie salary by the number of ppl working on Marathon at launch by 5. More ppl work on a game at launch than during early dev! I don't know if its malice or incompetence

Larry Ellison has said in the past that he views personal computing as something akin to an armed pesantry (disclaimer, this is a vague memory of an interview from years ago)
