Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026You've decided it doesn't, so not really much point is there but I'll try to explain my view. It matters because in this crime, there are victims and it is worth knowing who those victims are. Until today, I think many felt the fans were. 000
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026It matters. People's character matters. It's part of a problem in football where blind tribal loyalty matters more than the game. 100
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026No, but we've seen salah, mane, mac, szobo all look off it after international breaks. We could speculate about the reasons forever I suspect. 000
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Or could just be a post international break performance. Seen plenty of those from better players than him 100
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026I didn't really clock that. My kids killed my concentration on the game today. Small sample size for Barcola and that was a mental occasion. 100
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026I don't get to hear a lot of what the pundits/presenters say because I have 3 kids. Life is better without it. The football is still there though. Put it on mute if it helps. Don't let the fuckers take any more from us than they already have. 020
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026No explanation for Wirtz right now. He was getting the ball in all the right places but just executed poorly every time. Barcola has plenty of time to settle yet 100
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026I thought koumas was unlucky that one of donnarumma's spills didn't drop to him because he was there every time 100
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Don't think we should ever assume Isak is fit and will be a long time before Hugo is at his best 000
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026I suppose if they were more spread it wouldn't look so bad 100
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Whatever happens on the pitch today, I hope the crowd never let's City forget one thing. They know what they are. 020
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Nah, they've had their chance and they chose greed. (We may or may not be taking this overly seriously) 000
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 10/10/2026They all knew they were getting salaries above market rate for a club that couldn't sell out Wembley. They knew. Latterly, they all knew they'd been charged and chose to ignore it 140
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 10/10/2026The wife and I have decided that as City should be disbanded, their squad should be carved up in the form of a draft. Bottom of the league (haven't decided on the point in time) gets first pick and so on. 100
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Keen to see Barcola through the middle to be honest. Force them to hold a deeper line, create space for Wirtz. It's an option I'd like to know that we have sooner rather than later 010
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Definitely read 'reared' the wrong way and took it to a new level 020
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Hopefully see that aggression on Sunday. Cheating bastards robbed us of so much. 010
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 01/10/2026The managers and players were all complicit. They shouldn't be let off the hook in any way. As for Guardiola, I think you can recognise that he's a great coach but had all the advantages. Like an F1 driver in the best car 010
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 30/09/2026One thing nobody has mentioned, is that players/managers/agents must have been complicit. Knowing they were getting paid way above market rates. Knowing about these 'double contracts' if that's true. Signing even though they'd been charged 115 times. 000
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 30/09/2026City at Anfield on the 11th is going to be some atmosphere 010
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I think that's very possible. The owners can also be forced into a sale, but there will be a very damaged asset to set. We may see almost a reforming of the club like Wimbledon. 'AFC Man City' 010
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 30/09/2026This also happened over a number of years and the punishment should reflect that. The second layer is the refusal to cooperate and obstruction. That says you don't want to abide by the same rules as everyone else. That's a more administrative issue. That's where expulsion becomes a conversation. 020
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 30/09/2026To deal with City's cheating, you have to break down the charges as separate issues. The financial distortion has a direct sporting effect and led to them having players they shouldn't have had. That needs a sporting remedy I.e. removal of titles and points deductions. 120
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 28/09/2026You know it's serious when you put Sky Sports News on and Kaveh is leaning in 000
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 27/09/2026If it's a breach of Premier League rules, would it affect the FA Cup? Another layer of complexity 020
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 26/09/2026All the clubs that were robbed should hold a parade, on the same day, in Manchester 000
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 25/09/2026That's why I said ban them. Make them mid-table and meaningless. 110
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Rather than relegation, I would like to see the punishment reflect the duration of the charges. I think it was 7 years, so deduct them 20 points a season for 7 seasons and ban them from Europe. Make them a nothing club. A relegation can be resolved too quickly 110
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 24/09/2026He was great in second half of last season. Everyone seems to have forgotten that too 120
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 21/09/2026100%. Objective 1 was surely becoming hard to beat. Seems like we've achieved that at least 010
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Lots of what we did last season didnt help him but there were no excuses for Sunday afternoon, just piss poor. He's got a lot to do to get to the level he needs to be at 041
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Sort of defender that wakes up on a morning and clears loose balls out of his kitchen. Love him 010
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Why dont they just move it all to summer!? Nations league, qualifying, whatever. Just do it in summer. Far less disruptive and the quality of football would be better as more focused. 100
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Haha, that occurred to me too. I'd be spinning a full web of lies. Little side hustle that pays for everything. Place abroad. Maybe even a second family. 010
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 20/09/2026We've been awful, particularly those two but the rest of my feed seems to be blaming Oliver and Carragher 000
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 20/09/2026More technically gifted than Hendo just not a patch on his mentality 010
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 18/09/2026We had a similar experience first time around when my wife had pretty extreme mastitis. Even then, nobody suggested formula. My wife felt under so much pressure she was trying to put herself through extreme pain to make it work. Just use formula. All 3 of mine are fine and dads can help more. 030
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I'd stick with the first list. Send Mac to a spa. His biggest issue is fatigue for me 000
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Also, your average tax payer/voter doesn't consider the value gain of a property over time that is untaxed as income. They only see that they earned their wages and were taxed then, why should they be taxed again? 130
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Same as everything, they think it will only kill the poor people 000
Smudge @1smudger.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Foden's is a nailed on red, no problem with that. Not booking fernandes in the same incident is mental. 000
