To prove that I am always on that cutting edge of comedy, I want everyone to know I watched by first episode of Parks and Recreation today.

The Influencer Project ⭐️ "Frankly, the movie is just boring. I had an internal debate of whether the boredom equated being bad, but the boredom was a result of the movie failing to execute its idea."

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

April X ⭐️⭐️ "The neo noir aspect of this movie is very 1940's, wandering around in alleys with an inner monologue decorating all the brooding. The movie wants to compel with its introspection and mystery, but it seems disinterested in both the world it created and its story."

Rolling Loud: The Movie ⭐️1/2 "There are a few things that are off with the movie. A few punchlines feel rushed into, which might be an editing failure that hurts the comedic timing of the film. Or it could just be that the movie isn't very funny and they're trying to rush through it."

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

#4. The Griffin Incident When Star Trek encounters horror tropes, it usually does so with some sort of scientific explanation, like that time the NX-01 found a ship of zombie Vulcans, where they can wave it away as a virus. This episode is just pure horror. And it goes way harder than expected.

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

The Incomer ⭐️⭐️⭐️ "The movie plays a lot with introversion, utilizing the scenario as a showcase for oddballs who have rarely communicated with anyone. It's comedic in how weird their personalized culture is, but it's often swift to point out that being an outsider isn't a bad thing."

Beware Boiúna ⭐️⭐️ "In case you were disappointed that last year's Anaconda reboot was a parody, here's a comparable adequate giant snake movie to fill that void in your life."

Verity ⭐️ "Despite a promising set-up, the story grows more senseless as it goes. As my questions about the story grew to a head, the climax offered to bring resolution with the twist ending and answers all of them by assuring the viewer that nothing makes any goddamn sense."

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Digger ⭐️ "A movie with clear, focused, and virtuous ambitions of being a modern Dr. Strangelovex that is drowned in self-absorbed obnoxiousness. I admired almost everything this movie tried to do, and I also hated every goddamn second of it and am bitter that I even wasted my time on it."

It's October 1st. It's time for my annual reminder that I will not be gaslit into thinking Halloween III isn't one of the most insipid, boring, and downright stupid films ever made. Get off my lawn.

#6. Like Chronitons Through the Hourglass Most of my Trek group couldn't get past how cringe this episode is, and I got stares when I said "I kinda loved that episode." But I know I'm on the right side of history because this episode is SO FUNNY.

#7. Tomorrow's Enterprise Timey wimey shenanigans and a little bit retro, and also SPACE BABIES, Tomorrow's Enterprise is a fun way to try and reconfigure a lot of the legacy characters into this show into who they would become. They would have succeeded, but Chapel's hair isn't big enough.

#8. Once La'an a Time Considering most of this season consisted of gimmicky genre shift episodes, somehow it felt right that one of them was a sequel to that first genre bender that worked surprisingly well for this show: The Elysian Kingdom. Once La'an a Time isn't as good, but still fun.

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

#9. A Case of Chiaroscuro I'm going to need to justify this one because I'm literally the only person I've met that has a meh reaction to this episode. Traditionally, Trek episodes that visit a world that copies a certain Earth trait and make it their entire personality are not my favorite.

The Stunt Driver ⭐️⭐️⭐️ "The movie is a pretty chill psychological comedy about a man painstakingly perfecting his artform (complete with footage of the actual stunts being performed). Art can be frustrating while it's being made, so the film can be equally frustrating."

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Charlie Harper ⭐️⭐️1/2 "This is the second movie in the last month starring Emilia Jones that involves aspiring chefs and struggling romances. Is this some sort of weird typecasting niche that she has fallen into?"

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Ha-Chan, Shake Your Booty! ⭐️⭐️1/2 "The movie has little flourishes that are inspired by anime and manga, such as chapter titles and expressionistic fantasy. I'm not entirely sure this adds anything of value to the movie, but it does give it a vibe that it chases, and sometimes stumbles, after."

Rolled credits on Wolverine. My final verdict on it is that if you were anticipating it, it's worth a play. It's just not as good as Insomniac's Spider-Man games. And if you like X-Men stories, it's a pretty good X-Men story, so it's worth sticking with.

Heart of the Beast ⭐️⭐️⭐️ "The movie is a rather base idea of a man and his dog surviving the elements, with both bond and spirit prevailing as hardship is smothered to death in shmaltz. But the adversity is tense and the emotion is strong."

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Primetime ⭐️⭐️1/2 "It's an interesting movie, though sometimes I struggled with whether it was interesting enough. The film's focus tends to widen out and display the predatory nature of every direction, including Hansen himself, and I'm like...yeah. Obviously."

Avengers: Endgame - Encore ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 "My advice is that Encore is worth seeing if you love Endgame enough to see it again in a theater, and you'll get some sugar on top at the end. If you're going for a first look at Doomsday, you might find the anticipated dessert pretty light."

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Forgotten Island ⭐️⭐️⭐️ "The movie leans very hard into a random and chaotic narrative. Normally, I'd claim that as a detraction, but with this particular story, it feeds into the Alice in Wonderland style adventure that's at play."

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

The thing that is making Strange New Worlds less than perfect is the knowledge that, after the events of this show, Kirk went up against Khan twice and never once taunted him with "I smashed your great-great-great-great-great-great granddaughter."

I just got to the Hand in Wolverine and the first thought that popped into my head was imagining how how much better it would have been if Insomniac had made a Daredevil game instead. I'm still enjoying it, but Daredevil mechanics would have been lit.

The Weight ⭐️⭐️⭐️ "It's an effectively made movie. It's well-directed and tense. Some of the hurdles in the plot are underdeveloped, but it feels like it just wants to keep our focus within the group, not fully knowing what's going on, just wanting to survive it."

1godzillafan, The MST3K & Clara Stan @1godzillafan.bsky.social · 19/09/2026
