I update the prompt list as people sign up. However, most authors have used their own prompts rather than ones from the list so there aren’t a lot of prompts gone. If you’d like to sign up using one of the prompts, please feel free to.

I’m now realizing how bad I am a promoting things 😆 I’m out of ideas for promoting the fest. Should I continue posting paranormal fics as recommendations? I need new ideas.

Kinda reminds me of Edward from Twilight.. couldn’t he read everyone’s mind besides Bella’s? Am I thinking correctly? It’s been a minute since I’ve watched the movies or read the books.

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 09/05/2025

Awww… he goes to Liam 🥹🥹 But why Liam??

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 08/05/2025

I keep forgetting to do these. Oops? I get distracted writing lol

010

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 08/05/2025

Adding two (again) because I forgot 8am and one for 12pm 🙃

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 08/05/2025

Have two just because I’m feeling generous 🤭

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 07/05/2025

Oh please, if you write this, PLEASE give us some cheesy one liners related to stars. I NEED them 😆

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 07/05/2025

Simple. So many ideas you could have (Also have no idea what Torchwood is. I’m uncultured 😅)

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 07/05/2025

OT5 investigative scientist exploring paranormal activities that affect local residents? Yes please!!

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 07/05/2025

I’ve never heard of outlander. Is it a show? A movie? A book? Sounds interesting though!!

010

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

Oh? What kind of things will he notice? What’s with the cherry blossom scent?

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

So many ways this could go… is the ghost jealous? Is it another matchmaker? Is it another guardian trying to protect the character?

011

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

Oh how interesting… do the other people know he’s “in their space” if so, how would that work? 🤔

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

It's kinda hard to believe I've been able to pull this entire fest for the last two weeks. I don't do well with long term projects sometimes 😅 ANYWAYS, the real reason I'm posting, just a reminder, prompts submissions stay open until June 1st and author sign ups open May 10 😉

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

Tarot cards? So, can he see into the future but use the cards as an outlet for his visions? Is that how it works? (I know nothing about tarot cards 😅)

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

Another matchmaker but with a guardian angel? Gimme gimme!!

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

Oh also, 5 days!! Author sign-ups will open at 8 am CST (2pm GMT) on May 10!!

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

Forbidden romance? Yes please!! Give me 100 of them!!

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

Wow.. sounds interesting. Wonder how this entire thing would play out in the end. How do they prevent the curse?

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

Who’s warning him? Who are they warning him about? Will he listen?

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

Intriguing… how do they help? Are they the same kind of paranormal or do they just know a lot?

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

A little cafe fic but different? If he's human, how'd he get in? Does he have powers? Is he something entirely different?

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

Another superhero fic? Interesting. What powers does he have this time? What will their relationship become?

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

Ghost hunters!! And the ghost is a matchmaker? What will the ghost do to get them together? Will they end up together

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

I missed two prompt times due to sleeping so you're getting 3 at noon 😉

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

Oh secrets… never a good thing, is it? What happens when they find out? Do they do what Louis’ family did? Do they keep him? Who knows? 🤷‍♀️

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

What else could be in the forest? Is Harry really just a man or is he more? Who knows? Only the future author can tell us 😉

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

A little superhero fic... sounds intriguing. What kind of powers could Louis have? What would his hero name be? 🤔

In honor of there being two days left until prompt submission open, here are the rules for the fest!

000

1D Paranormal Fic Fest @1dparanormalfest.bsky.social · 26/04/2025

Friendly tip: this fest is set in Central Time Zone because I, the one and only mod ( @crystal0922.bsky.social ), live there and it’s easier for me to process that time instead of doing math for a different time zone.

As a countdown until the prompt submissions open, I plan on sharing a new paranormal related fic everyday and adding them to a thread along with making separate posts for them.
