featuring characters from a novel i'm working on, the constellation of us (tcou) (i need to make more art so i can stop using such old pieces...)

it's not even that i needed a kiss or lara to not leave (temporarily?). slightly less questionable if it ends up getting a follow-up but if it leaves off there i will be left feeling like "welp, that felt off"

on some days of reflection of sayolara: i still don't love the epilogue and most of it is on its inexplicably detached tone. if everything stayed the same but lara was more emotionally reactive to mari in the final scene (a hug?! anything...) it would have helped a lot, imo

however it is ripe for fic writers to play around with!

rise🌙 @1amrise.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

to be fair i was already worried with the lack of time available to conclude the story so, mostly i think if it had more time maybe i could've been more satisfied... 😪

i fear i did not want that epilogue portion of sayolara haha

i am slow and bad at completing long video games though... 3h had the benefit of being during the pandemic (and edelgard route being the shortest. heh)

i don't usually post processes because half the time i'm just painting on one layer anyway, but here's one of my recent pic since i maintained the sketch and line layers

"Indies will save us" No! YOU WILL SAVE INDIES! Go leave a review for that neat indie game you like, share the trailer for an upcoming game you're anticipating, tell your fave developer they did a good job, go tell people about such and such game that's just come out, you can make a difference!

I released my debut sapphic sci-fi romance novella a couple weeks ago! It's about a mechanic falling for the android she's meant to fix (to put it briefly) 🩷🔧 📖 mybook.to/ADORE

Couple months ago I opened some sketch commissions on Vgen, and had a lot of fun drawing people’s characters in situations. I think I’m gonna do it again!!! (Reopening a couple more slots this coming Friday)

Two classmates spend their free time up on a tree branch. One yearns for the other’s attention.

Two trans monster gals lounging about. One of them playfully lays on the other’s belly, staring and grinning at her.

Nothing is more depressing than watching young artists give other young artists advice like “only use one colour palette in everything you do to have a more recognizable brand” and “draw everything with a target audience in mind”

i'm sure this is a thought that has been had many times over lol. i do want to foray into more adult/suggestive works (in drawn work, i already explore this in writing) but i do appreciate subtlety, personally *That said: what is Hot is completely subjective, of course

100

rise🌙 @1amrise.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

thinking about the phenomenon of how nsfw art scales in terms of "Hot"*. i think suggestive art can do this very well without showing anything. sometimes you don't even need any actual nsfw aspect to be Hot. and then sometimes things aim so hard to be Hot so much it subversively becomes un-Hot

not technically an oc but might use this design somewhere down the line

000

rise🌙 @1amrise.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

in a very "dunno what i'm doing" era of my art but something is better than nothing, i guess. also this is a crop but probably won't bother finishing heh

rise🌙 @1amrise.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

🫥 don't mind me posting some suggestive art ...(and also reposting bc i couldn't remember if i actually labelled it as such. i think bsky ends up doing it anyway but whateverrr)

51k... may very well count as a short novel to some people now, but i will continue to call it a novella
