Trans people belong in sports. Period. We fully stand alongside transgender athletes who simply want to compete and live. #TransPeopleBelong #TransPeopleBelongInSports

Today, we reaffirm our support for transgender athletes and transgender members of our community.

Sports unite us and should always be a place of belonging. We reject efforts that invite greater scrutiny of athletes' bodies, identities, and private medical information.

These measures will not only single out a vulnerable population; they risk creating an environment in which all athletes — especially women and girls — face invasive questioning, inspections, and undue burdens.

We stand with transgender athletes and everyone who believes sports are strongest when they are built on dignity and respect.
