So the tear down took a turn for the worst. the opposite bank of cylinders, then gasket failure I found deep scratches on the cylinder walls. Not something I was expecting

During the tear down found the blown head gasket. It's hopefully not too bad. I'm sending them off to the machine shop for surfacing and checking the valves for sealing. #mustang #SBF #302

I'm rebuilding my Street/track 1992 mustang coupe. Recent update: last track HPDE1 event at Willow springs, blew a head gasket 🤬🤬. Starting the tear apart has just begun. I'll try to update again soon #foxbody #mustang #diymechanic
