Zero @0ssht.bsky.social · 01/01/2026a good example of Kazuha standing by himself is Fresh Blossom of Springs by Rengiyuu, like Kazuha personally clears out Heizou's cases so he would stop avoiding the guy. Another example is oddly a yandere fic out of all places, You're That Irresistable by aleemaleewah. that fic did such a GREAT job 100

So I do really expecting Kazuha to do something on his own and be active, not relying on heizou much qwq 100

He doesn't feel like he has his own integrity. And I think a lot of heikazu writers do fall in making Kazuha be this soft boy that would never hurt a fly and i sighed 100

Ayzachan's is very action oriented more than anything else, it felt like a shonen story. there is Pruewinkle's one uh, I dont see much progress yet and it's heavy on psychology. 110

The other fic that come close to how you write mystery is Red Tide by amoleofmonsters on AO3, it has in depth autopsy report 100

Like on one scene in your detective vamp au where Kazuha got kidnapped, bro I was so blown 100

This doesn't mean he can't have feelings, he has quite high of emotional intelligence from how he's so considerate to the traveler through his birthday letters and teapot lines. But his feelings would rather go externally, to seek and understand people and the environment 130

And your decision to make the other core part of your writings which is their romance and make it slow burn is also very crucial in making the story an absolute banger, I think heikazu is best done in slow burn anyway since Heizou is a very logical person and prefers it more 100
