iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

The future of VR should be open, creator-driven, interconnected, and free from communities that punish people for thinking differently. That’s the path I’m choosing from now on. discord.gg/5Y3urEcpP

Somnium Space is a Social VR platform enabling immersive, economy-powered experiences. With the Somnium VR1 headset, users enjoy high-fidelity, open-world interaction and true digital ownership. | 587...

Because of that, MEOW'TOPIA’s future projects, events, and worlds will progressively move toward Somnium Space as our new creative direction. This isn’t the end of the community. If anything, it feels like the start of a new era.

000

What matters to me is simple: creative freedom experimentation collaboration immersive experiences building spaces where people feel alive Right now, Somnium Space aligns far more with that vision.

000

That contrast was impossible to ignore. I’ve spent years organizing events, DJing, building underground communities, and pushing immersive rave culture further inside VR. None of that loses value because I opened another launcher.

000

Meanwhile, the moment I arrived in Somnium Space, I was welcomed immediately. People helped me set things up, answered questions, supported my projects, and even discussed MEOW'TOPIA worlds and events. No gatekeeping. No weird hostility. Just people excited to build together.

000

I didn’t attack anyone. I didn’t sabotage a community. I just said: “Maybe I also want to build elsewhere.” Platforms are tools, not religions. If creators become “enemies” the second they explore another ecosystem, that’s not loyalty: it’s cult-like behavior.

010

Apparently trying something outside of VRChat now makes you a traitor or some shit 💀 I was removed from the VRChat Community Leader Discord because I wanted to see what another virtual world had to offer. And honestly? That reaction told me everything I needed to know.

000

Official Statement — The Future of MEOW'TOPIA After a lot of reflection, I’ve decided to officially shift my focus toward Somnium Space moving forward. Ironically, what pushed me toward this decision was the reaction I received for simply exploring another platform.

700

And the result? You kill creative spaces, you discourage people from hosting events, and you push away the very communities that make the platform worth being on. At this point it just feels unfair, inconsistent, and honestly lazy. Fix your priorities. 0P4 X45

000

But content creators? Event organizers? DJs? People actually building communities and keeping the platform alive? Yeah, those get hit instantly. It makes zero sense. You’re (VRChat) not protecting users: you’re just randomly punishing the visible ones while the real issues stay in the background.

000

And let’s be real for a second: VRChat has way bigger problems. There are actual creeps, actual dangerous communities, people crossing serious lines: and those somehow slip through or take forever to deal with.

000

Meanwhile you’ve got dudes with shirtless “eboy” avatars flexing, grinding, doing the exact same energy… and somehow that’s fine? No action, no bans, nothing. So what is this, selective enforcement? Because that’s exactly how it looks. I'm starting to believe this is misogynistic.

This picture got me banned. Seriously? I was dancing. On a pole. In a club setting. That’s it. No nudity, no explicit shit: just a vibe that literally exists in every real-world club. So what now? We’re banning women, or anyone, just for doing suggestive dancing? That’s where the line is?

Finding your tribe is always a challenge when the road paved isn't always the correct road to travel. Sometimes, creating your own path allows you to standout. That's what @70p14.bsky.social looks to do with their events, community and future of raving in VR. youtu.be/ST9viNex_10?...
