fixed it i'd literally just entirely missed the arm piece in both of their texture maps, and i guess i didn't notice until now for the same reason you didn't? lmao anyway they look great now :)

Kiritani Haruka and Momoi Airi training on the Miya Girls rooftop as they often do. Airi smugly encourages a confident Haruka: "C'mon, Haruka! Let's jump some more more!!"

Shiraishi An in MYSEKAI mode. She's saying, "Oh, right… I forgot we can't bring anything back from SEKAI. That's too bad."

the wording just. sounded so mafuyu idk

Niigo all gathered in the Empty Sekai. Akiyama Mizuki is blushing, shy and surprised, as the other three all regard her fondly. Asahina Mafuyu is saying, matter-of-factly, "we yes WE as a whole collective love mizuki. theres no one who doesnt love mizuki. and if they dont then theyre wrong and they will soon discover that they do love mizuki"

Shiraishi An, Azusawa Kohane, and Akiyama Mizuki all gathered at Crase Café. An and Kohane are both giving Mizuki a very fond look as she smugly quips, "What are we, some kind of Project SEKAI?"

could've gone in a bunch of ways with this one but i mean,

Shiraishi AM's untrained card "Looking Up At The Scenery", which shows her gazing up at Azusawa Kohane in absolute awe. It's now captioned with An saying "lesbians are amazing".

wowie someone should even be in the middle of writing a third fic about this~!! 😇

A screenshot of Obsidian, the Markdown notes application I use, displaying a document named The Legends Too Vivid in my Project Sekai folder. The outline view is open, showing the first three chapters, and the main text view shows one paragraph from the document itself:
"Yahō, Mizukiiii!" Standing just outside the grounds of Kamiyama High School, Shiraishi An has finally spotted her pastel girlfriend. "Where'd ya disappear to after class, girl?"

Shinonome Ena and Akiyama Mizuki on Nightcord chat in their bedrooms. Ena is Very Angry, to the point of crying, while Mizuki has a fond somewhat silly smile. Ena 'says':
*typing noises*
"i did NOT fucking paint that masterpiece just for you to turn me into HETSLOP!!!!"

there's actually a very important followup to this tumblr post

A series of Tumblr reblogs from users 'true stories about me' and 'bisexual shakespeare'.

First, 'true stories about me' says:
This is going around again, so I should say, I was wrong when I wrote this.

Actually, I know the _girl_ who set them and _she’s_ full of shit

Then 'bisexual shakespeare' replies:
Congrats on the gender. Get well soon with the executive dysfunction

Finally, 'true stories about me' adds a screenshot of a tag and reacts to it:
#she procrastinated her gender
OH MY GOD

Shiraishi An at WEEKEND GARAGE, delightedly telling Shinonome Akito and Aoyagi Tōya: 'i love being a lesbian my friends will never stop hearing the words "i miss my girlfriend" the millisecond she leaves my presence'

admittedly it was a strange choice for what's ostensibly an adaptation, but i'm really glad that this time illumination focused on telling an engaging story with compelling characters instead of just squeezing in as many lazy references as possible like they did in the first film

unfortunately using emoji in sekai stories looks. extremely funny i made it with just mizuan at first but then i felt bad? even though kohane could've very easily just been getting the ice cream or something? anhane frequently bought together do not separate

Shiraishi An in a market square in Shibuya with her adorable girlfriends, Akiyama Mizuki and Azusawa Kohane. An gushes "i love women 😭😭😭😭😭😭"

omg oops. it's not from project sekai, i'm just putting my blorbos on it the girl in the original comic is almost certainly izayoi sakuya from touhou!

Official artwork of Izayoi Sakuya from Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, one of the Touhou fighting games. She's a maid with silvery-blue hair tied into braids - she's carrying a tea tray in her right hand and a trio of throwing knives in her left. Sakuya is the knives girl.

Shiraishi An, Akiyama Mizuki, and Azusawa Kohane at Crase Café together. Mizuki's being a smug little shit in the middle and the Vivids both look pathetically fond of her.

ngl the most exciting part is that i just made it in sekai stories. no post-processing in krita required yes my local build of sekai stories can do this. gonna clean it up a bit and submit a pull request to upstream since this is a real cool feature for power users i think

A screenshot of the SEKAI Stories UI, showing exactly the same image I just posted in my previous reply. There is an extra button in the Costume section of the sidebar labelled "model.costume.texture". It doesn't fit in the available space so looks pretty horrible, but that's why it's a work-in-progress!

made somethin real quick that might come in handy

a set of five anime characters being labelled by two people. the person on the left has the flag of the united states of america, and they assign the following labels:
Crossdressing: Laura Rolla from Ɐ Gundam ("Turn A Gundam")
Otokonoko: Hasuta from Haiyore! Nyaruko-san
Newhalf: Mariandale from Ixion Saga DT
Okama: Ladiva (also known as Fastiva in Japanese) from Granblue Fantasy
Gender Bender: Oyama Mahiro from Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister!

the person on the right has the flag of japan, and they assign one label to all five characters: トランスジェンダー ("transgender")

Pouncing on her from behind for hugs, An eagerly insists "'Course you can, Kohane!"

An's introduction in Project Sekai The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing. She's at WEEKEND GARAGE and excitedly asking Kohane to "Tell me more!"

Kohane has retrieved a bunch of Phoenix Wonderland flyers from her backpack and spread them out on the table. Pointing at one of them, she explains to An, "This show's about a clown."

so real here, have a little sneak preview of the part i'm workin on right now :)

Smirking, An makes a sly suggestion. “Pretty sure she’s not gonna say so herself, but Mizuki would absolutely love it if you started using her given name instead, Minori-chan.”

“Oh! Are you sure that’s alright?” Minori asks, to which Mizuki nods ardently. “Okay then. I’d like to be friends in real life too, Mizuki-chan~!” The combination of her cutesy mannerisms and her cheerful use of her number one fan’s name has a powerful effect, blasting Mizuki point-blank with a concentrated beam of idol aura.

“!!!! Ohhh I can’t not kiss her…” Mizuki squeals, quietly as before. But this time…

“Ehh??” Minori’s alarmed! “Y-you want to kiss _me_?! Really?!?!”

Her voice very small, Mizuki shyly admits, “I forgot that you can actually hear me.” Then the words tumble out in a rush. “But yes please I would like that a lot if that’s okay with you.”

“Gosh, Mizuki-chan!” Startled idol is startled! “Right in front of your girlfriends?!”

Kohane chuckles and plants a little kiss on Mizuki’s cheek. “Actually, I miiiiight have given her the idea. Ehehe~”

“We won’t mind,” An promises. “We trust ya, Mizuki. You’re totally allowed to kiss your oshi – y’know, if she wants you to.”

Mizuki’s very blushy. “Jeez, you two are the best. So, uh… how about it, Minori-chan? Do you wanna…?”

Blushing just as much at the thought of doing something so astonishingly gay, Minori excitedly thinks it through. “Well you’re always so sweet in chat, and you make Kohane-chan viva viva happy, aaaand I _really_ like cute girls, so… yes, I wanna.” After a yearning moment, she hastily blurts out, “If you’re all sure it’s okay!!”

Kohane calmly nodnods. “We’re sure, Minori-chan.” For emphasis she leans in and gives Minori a tiny kiss of her own, without any fuss. “You’re very welcome to kiss Mizukitty.”

Happy flustered Minori. “Ehe, you’re so cool, Kohane-chan…”

“She’s the coolest!” An agrees, promptly pouncing on Kohane from behind to squeezily cuddle her yet again. “Mmmmm, love you!” Then with a shrug, she casually adds, “Oh, yeah, and Minori-chan can kiss me too if she wants. Seems fair that way.”

Minori’s practically in sapphic heaven at this point. “Ehhhh? You too, An-chan?! Kisses with so many pretty girls…!? Uwaaaaaaa…!!”

“Eeee, just like on your stream!” Aaaand now Mizuki’s fangirling. “A genuine Minorinrin Yuriyuri Dokidoki Bakablast™! And it’s because of _us_!! Soooo awesome!!!” She chirrups with delight. Happy kitty!

Happy melty blushy silly otter too. “Ehehehehehehe…”

Mizuki tentatively draws closer to her idol, rapidly growing flustered again. “So, uh… hi~”

Peering dreamily up at the taller girl, Minori murmurs, “Wow, Mizuki-chan… you have really beautiful eyes…”

“Jeez… so do you though~” Face very flushed, Mizuki takes a cue from her own girlfriends and gently slips an arm around Minori. “You’re even more adorable up close, Minorinrin…”

“But you…!” Minori excitedly counters. “You’re so cute…!! I can’t believe such a pretty girl is _my fan_…!!!”

Mizuki can’t believe that she can’t believe it! “Who wouldn’t be your fan, Minori-chan…? You’re an absolutely amazing idol…!”

“Ehehehehe, you’re the sweetest, Mizuki-chan…” Minori’s still melting from gay enthusiasm. Aww.

But so is Mizuki. “You’re always so inspiring…”

“You’re always so supportive…”

“You’re the best…”

“So are you…”

Yet outside of showering each other in praise, they’re still barely moving, like a stupid pair of lesbian sheep. So An breaks through their mutual awe with an irreverent giggle. “Are you dorks gonna kiss or what?”

“yes please~” Minori whispers, yearning in her voice, finally drawing closer.

“omigosh omigosh omigosh omigosh omigosh,” Mizuki squeaks out in reply.
