Cleantech is *fucking great*. Since I put in solar, a heat pump and an induction top, my energy bills have fallen to less than $80 per month, even in Los Angeles, even at the height of summer. My EV - a 7-year old Kia Niro - costs *pennies* to run, because I charge it off my roof.
