i just read about what the positioner does and how it relates to the union css layout-* properties and damn. it is a genuinely clever idea to give more power to css themes to affect layouting without modifying the structure of vertical/horizontal stacked layouts but shifts burden to the style engine

i take it back, layout-alignment-* is not very good. its just three divs (start, center/fill, end) in a row and each of those divs is also flex row except when this secret mode is on, then its a flex col with but the only options is to stack center without gaps and the other option is flex grow

because of the very early state of the project i cant really tell with enough confidence if this is a bug or intended design
