Eliza Orlins @elizaorlins.bsky.social · 08/12/2024The iOS 18 Photos app update is a hate crime against usability. Who approved this disaster? 3841158
Eliza Orlins @elizaorlins.bsky.social · 08/12/2024And yes, I know everyone has already spent a solid month complaining about this, but seriously, the iOS 18 Photos app update is truly enraging. 3680
Suzanne Stephens @suzstephens.bsky.social · 09/12/2024It’s a prime example of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. 010
Cubeytheawesome @cubeytheawesome.bsky.social · 09/12/2024I begged an employee at the apple store to change it back. He promised to tell his superiors about dissatisfaction with the new photos layout, and I hope It goes all the way to the top, cause they ruined one of the best parts about having a phone: looking at screenshots and saved images. 010
Kevin Guay @kevinguay.com · 09/12/2024Glad I’m not the only one. It was so simple and intuitive before. I think I’m finally getting the hang of it though. 010

gen x rants @genxrants.bsky.social · 09/12/2024I spent 10 minutes tonight trying to find my passwords file. Guess they thought we were enjoying our phones too much. Couldn’t let that stand…. 010
Fred Busso aka Bogarter @fredbusso.bsky.social · 09/12/2024They're doing so much stupid shit @Apple And since they insisted of making new, more expensive power cables, COULD THEY IMPROVE ON THE QUALITY TO MATCH THE PRICE?? 000
Esger @ashware.eurosky.social · 08/12/2024I use it seldomly, I’m preferring Google photos. You can use that instead on iPhone. 010
therossjohnson.bsky.social @therossjohnson.bsky.social · 09/12/2024Horrid. Truly. I knew exactly where every little thing was… no more. 010
VeganRoyalty @veganroyalty.bsky.social · 09/12/2024Probably the same folks who thought the new photo organization style is…helpful. 010
Maria Honeycutt, PhD, CFM @marhon.bsky.social · 08/12/2024It’s unusable. The WaPo posted some tips about the 18 upgrade overall, incl one just about photos. If you scroll all the way down to the customize and re-order button, you can at least deselect some of the categories shown. 2161
Linda @linda-d.bsky.social · 09/12/2024You can change it back. On the very bottom click customize. Then uncheck all you don’t want to see. Then x out. You can always add them back. 030
tragicsoma @tragicsoma.bsky.social · 09/12/2024Fuck yeah. It’s awful. I thought I was the only one. 010
Catherine K @ckawahata.bsky.social · 09/12/2024I thought I was doing a good job staving off the update & it suddenly showed up on my phone thus morning. I hate everything about it so far. I just closed photos when I saw that mess. 010
Jordxn @aznjordxn.bsky.social · 09/12/2024I just updated and I FUCKING HATE IT. I keep losing my place looking deep in the archives because I some how hit that X button. FFS. 010
David Bloomberg #BB28 #Survivor #TheTraitors @davidbloomberg.bsky.social · 09/12/2024Glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. I complained to my son and did NOT get a sympathetic ear! 020
Kei @keicoconuttree.bsky.social · 08/12/2024It takes me forever to find a picture now. This is absolute nonsense! 060
