Thankfully in NY, in the criminal context, polygraph evidence is not admissible because it has not been established as sufficiently reliable. 3/x 223513 235

Juryology @juryology.bsky.social · 04/07/2023This is true, though the so-called "CSI Effect" can be tempered a lot during voir dire, and defeated through GOOD opening statements/closing arguments. But I agree 10000%; this crap shouldn't be admitted at all. Add much DNA evidence, too - odds of false "matches" are shockingly high. 060 6
