Here's another example of a precariously balanced rock, the Teufelstisch (Devil's Table) in my Palatinate homeland, Germany, which consists of layers of Triassic Bunter sandstone that are variably resistant to weathering. And yes, the seismically active Rhine Rift isn't far 😉 #Geosciences
