Yep. I’m not sure there exists ANYTHING that could stick to the GOP long enough to make it politically unsalvageable. Not as long as the right-wing media industry and reactionary algorithmic doom spiral exist. I don’t know what they could possibly do at this point to cause real, lasting backlash.

In previous recessions caused by Republican tariffs, it cost Republicans the house for like 60 years, tho MAGAots are much more cult like now, and i totally agree with the right wing media point

I really do believe that American right-wing media is the single most destructive force in the entire history of civilization (outside of nuclear weapons). I am not being hyperbolic. In terms of the sheer societal damage it has caused, and will continue to cause, I think the assessment is accurate.
