The cookies are now logs and chilling in the fridge 😁

Chocolate chunk shortbread in a log shape and wrapped in plastic wrap chilling in the fridge.

So, they ended up in the fridge for two overnights. But they have been rolled in sugar and sliced up (for easier storage in the freezer) and the first batch are in the oven 😋

A kitchen counter covered in sliced chocolate chip shortbread on parchment paper. A knife sits next to one larger piece that hasn't been cut yet. There is a mug full of coffee also on the counter that says "The Re-Cap Show" and a compost bin.

Sounds like a line of lyrics in a Christmas song. By the way, did you make enough for everyone?
