Jun 26th 1996 - After avoiding jail for multiple speeding offences, Irish crime reporter, Veronica Guerin, was murdered by drug gang members. 📽️📅 Depicted in Veronica Guerin (2003)

3 Screenshots from the movie "Veronica Guerin" (2003): First, a blonde woman speaks seriously in a dark courtroom setting, with the subtitle "I... I deserve to lose this case, Judge. That's fair enough, you know." Second, the same woman is in a red car driving while holding a phone to her ear, with the subtitle "No, I swear to God. Just a £100 fine and a warning. I'm behind the wheel again." Third, she continues the phone conversation, looking concerned while stopped on the side of a rural road with trees and another vehicle in the background.
