Quite. This, AND give some thought how we are going to afford to insulate the 20-30% (criteria vary) of UK housing stock that is poorly insulated. If we don't need to keep heating (or cooling) our buildings, we don't need the energy to do the heating (or cooling).
@ilikecaketoo.bsky.socialAB seems fixated on COL, I get it. But if he’s unwilling to do anything about climate AND make ‘green’ anything cheaper for Joe Bloggs, then he’s missing the point. Bring back financial aid eg grants to help people move from fossil fuels. There’s been some but too narrow criteria. Make it universal.
