#WIPSnips October 5 wall Eleprin, against advice, has returned to her home town of Ermish with some new friends. From "Tales of Midbar: Heretical Gods" - If you like this, click the link: www.inkitt.com/stories/497649

Background: A bus station in the rain at night.

I'd never liked this cafe, it was full of poor people who relied on buses to get around. Sorry if that sounds snobby but a lot of them were rather dubious types. I now realized that it also had rather oppressive, depressing vibes.

"I think this is part of the weird weather they think is related to the Prophesied Ruination," said Printorac.

"Is it me or are we getting a lot of thunderstorms?" I asked.

We'd seen about four since we'd left Minris.

"I think there are more than normal," said Printorac.

The waitress was named Jicra, I remembered her as the older sister of one of my school friends. She showed little interest in dealing with us and showed no sign of recognizing me. I was horrified to notice a poster on the wall showing a picture of my family and one showing me how they thought I'd look now. They'd given me long hair and it looked younger than I actually looked. The caption said, WANTED FOR DISOBEDIENCE TO THE PRIESTHOOD AND INSULTING TIANAMET. Indratar was actually insulted by her temple having prostitutes or even having a temple at all. Fortunately, Werdil and Mel didn't seem to notice the poster. I think they were as tired as the rest of us and even Mel wasn't asking lots of questions.
