Williams @norajw.bsky.social · 28/09/2026One of the most unsettling details of the Cornell case is that the alleged perpetrators were apparently assigned short essays, and nothing stronger, as their consequence. Such situations almost invariably prompt cries for the assailants to be imprisoned. I understand this impulse. Oh, how I do. 210

We cannot continue to answer violence and trauma with more of the same - not least bc women, and especially multiply marginalised women, are the most likely targets of that kind of "justice." 110
