I, I can't wrap my head around running the Nix thing on macOS 😅 Perhaps it's not ideal for someone wanting to install lots of tools to try early on tho (Which I'd like to do given I need to find replacements for some software/workflows) & would updating software basically require a full rebuild 🤔

it may be good to set up NixOS in a VM, then you can play around with the config as much as you want without breaking anything important then once you are happy with your setup, you can use it on the real deal

a man with a beard is holding a piece of paper and saying `` so ready ! ''

Alt: GIF of Zach Galifianakis from the Hangover movie, with a bag on his arm, a satchel over his shoulder, giving us a magnificent head/hair flick and saying "So Ready"; for he can now install NixOS for reals.
