Then you remember... Her! This girl. When did you meet her? Was it that convention? Was it that signing line that one time? She was just always there. Somewhere. A familiar face, nothing else. One that kept coming back again and again. Never one that stood out, but one that was familiar.

And then a late show. An alley. Shadows and a flash of metal in amber lighting. Something cold and metal on your head. Brick against bare skin. And her face looking down on you. A flash. The barrel of a gun spattered in blood. And then nothing. Waking up here, unfeeling, unable to move.
