You have no choice, really, you're not sure why she's telling you to sit tight. You're trapped in there with nowhere to go - you're limited to the view of cameras on the outside of your mech, and the various sensors still plugged into your nervous system. "Yeah, I'm not going anywhere," you laugh.

There's a moment of silence that stretches on as you lay there in the dirt, your systems fried, most of your cameras offline, and static filling most of the ports you're still plugged into. Laying still like this is... unnatural. A mech in motion is a living mech. A still mech is a dead mech.

Mechs aren't supposed to be perfectly still. You want to move, you want to feel the sensation of wind against your metal skin again. You try the controls again, and get only a flare of system errors and feedback flooding your nervous system. Pins and needles in your body, like it fell asleep.
