Okay folks, today I'm gonna drop my first lesson on specialized hypnosis education. There's been a LOT of interest in hypnogogic limbs, so that's going to be my first port of call. First I'm gonna rant about how and why it works, then I'll break down how to do it with a partner and by yourself.

If you've ever heard of Mirror Therapy, you'll know the general mechanics through which this works already. If you're not familiar with Mirror Therapy; it's the process of tricking the brain into restarting the sensory feedback in an amputated limb to treat phantom pain with, literally, a mirror.

I've been doing something like this with my wife to shift and get ears, paws, tails, etc. It still blows my mind how I can *feel* whiskers at the end of a long coyote muzzle.

I wonder how this would interact with dissociated identity states that already experience phantom limbs? Like, I find myself curious if it would result in the alter in question experiencing, for example, two distinct sets of wings, one dissociative and one hypnotic?
