The pity of therapists. The pity of civilians. The pity of the new government who suddenly lamented the need of human weapons like you, as if they didn't build their entire fucking government on the corpses of girls whose brains had been melted to fucking mush like yours. The pity was the worst.

You spent most of those two years in a hospital. Surrounded by doctors in white coats, staring at you with those big, judgemental eyes. Staring at you with looks that said more than words ever did. You often fantasized about carving their eyes out. Especially when your therapist says that's bad.
