And this isn't something I have an answer to or even suggestions for. This is just an observation. It's like we somehow treat energy levels as being less important, less valid, than hitting actual burnout. Which ignores the fact that energy levels are wholly tied to burnout anyways, right?

It's almost like a sort of crisis mentality in that the thought tends to go "If I haven't reached the tapping-out point, then I'd rather keep it up and recharge later" - which, at least in my experience, very very easily leads to burnout and actual periods of tapping out for going too hard.

And I'm not just talking about the big scenes, production time, things like that. I'm talking energy as in the general energy pool that you draw on to actually occupy that space. The carefully chosen words. The energy, the aura, the vibes that require at least a little intentionality.
