You ask her how she escaped. She doesn't know. You ask her where the guards are. She doesn't know. You ask her who captured you. She doesn't know. You finally ask her about the muzzle. She flinches. But she doesn't know the answer to that question either.

You reach up to take it off her face, and the next thing you know you're on the ground halfway across the room. Your face hurts from where it impacted the floor, your vision is swimming, and you're pretty sure you sprained your wrist from trying to catch yourself in the fall. You cower before her.

She's twitching now, and her eyes are locked solely on you. She doesn't look away for anything. It's like you're suddenly the only thing in the world that exists to her. "You don't understand." The grin behind her muzzle almost hurts to look at. No human face should smile that widely, that open.
