You try to tell her it's dangerous. You try to tell her that there are too many infected and you're not a good enough fighter to do anything about that. She just laughs. Lights up a cigarette. Relaxes near the window like the apocalypse isn't happening. "What's the worst that could happen?"

You get out of the city, alright. She does exactly what she promised; she kills every last infected that gets between you and the way out. You're horrified the entire time. You can barely keep up. But she paces herself and never leaves your side. You never feel alone. It's a nice change of pace.

But the problem happens outside the city. Once you get past the last bridge and set up camp for the night at a highwayside gas station. You thought you were out of danger. You lit a fire, you had freshly caught hare, you actually laughed at some of her stories. She's actually really funny.
