Obama used a lot of his earliest presidential political capital to help drag grift-o-saurus Timothy bleeping Geithner across the Treasury Secretary finish line. Obama was never the fighter we hoped he would be.

He did much less than that and he was called a socialist, a communist, and anything in between by MAGA white trash. That’s why they voted for Trump. I don’t really get the idea that people went extreme Nazis because they didn’t get enough socialism. The conclusion doesn’t make sense.

Quite the opposite. From day 1 the Obama administration took a White House centered approach (thank you Rahm E). Unlike Biden's administration, I can't name a person on Obama's team who supported an activist constituency. "Vote" only, was the message.

“President Bush’s Troubled Asset Relief Program that the Republican Congress refused to adopt.” TARP was a sick joke and Obama’s bear hug of it was the first sign that he was going to be a useful idiot for the Epstein Class (and later Putin), but Democrats controlled the Congress in 2008.

And the second great recession is coming soon. People forget about the 2007 oil shock that caused people to be unable to pay rents, which caused foreclosures, and so on. This time, however, we wasted 25 trillion since then on funneling wealth to the billionaire class.

All of those responsible for the 2008 meltdown should still be in jail. In my thinking, that's his greatest failure. Well, that and not corraling Dems to support a public health care option.
