I can’t see how the US gets out of this. Declare victory & leave the Gulf and the global oil market is now controlled by Iran & China. Israel is likely finished. Send in US troops to secure the Strait & the uranium and thousands of US soldiers die. Probably tens of thousands. Check mate.
