I was a Rafiologic Technologist before retirement. We had to do continuing education credits for my entire 40 year career. (And in many situations the employee incurs the expense) Any profession held to that standard should constitute a professional license.

All of these professionals also have continuing education requirements for licensure. Some licensing requires that they have no felonies or drug convictions. So a higher standard than say- president of the United States.

Definitely want to make it harder for people to become nurses. Already too many nurses. Everyone says so. Whole country completely overrun with them. Hospitals, clinics, rural communities all be like “enough with this overabundance of nurses already!”

I shook my head when I read that bullshit. There are going to be a ton of really mad people in the health professions and the already bad nursing shortage will become catastrophic. I have to believe this gets reversed at some point in the future. If not, a dark age for health care lies ahead.

I love nurses, they are professionals, but they do not REQUIRE a graduate degree for entry level practice. PT/ OT/SLP and others must have masters or doctoral level education and will be devastated in the future.
