I need to get a Grand Unified Pi 5 Of Fuckery set to do radio, "90s Cable Box" FieldStation, later-generation video game emulation, and general compute (like LibreOffice and stuff). Then make the Pi 3B & Pi 3B+ specialized for other tasks. The "MiSTeR Pi" (not a Pi) is for old retro emulation.

*chin hands, smiling* Maybe someday I will finally get a Pi. They sound like so much fun and a lot of the stuff I'm playing with now is likely to spill off into some kind of self-hosting project in the future. It's on my someday list for sure!

Unless you have a very low-intensity niche like audio or text in mind, settle for no less than Pi 5, even if it costs, when you get there. Believe me when I say if there's NO Bluetooth or WiFi onboard you don't want it. I hate having to switch my WiFi dongle between my 3B (not plus) and MiSTeR.
