Brilliant multi-pov tale of survival & revolution and hope, on a generation ship divided by language - political space opera at its best from a master of Arabfuturism. Eager for book two, coming next year. #booksky 💙📚🪐 “The Republic of Memory” by Mahmud El Sayed @mahmudelsayed.bsky.social

Cover of the book, showing levels of habitats & mosques & towerblocks, in shades of brown & turquoise, sheltering under a portion of massive outer shell, a hint of fathomless space at the very top; at the bottom, rows and rows of rectangular pods that carry the ancestors.
