introspection

A four panel comic featuring anthropomorphic animals titled "Duncan and Eddie"

Panel 1: A husky is sitting on a rooftop just after the sun has set, thinking to themself. Narration over the panel reads, "I haven't had that thought in my head for a while, 'I wish I could kiss you.' I wonder if I ever really had a crush?

Panel 2: The scene cuts away to a different dog with their face buried in their hands and their tail wagging frantically. The narration continues. "Racing heartbeats, sweaty palms, burning cheeks... They're plain as day on Kip, but not at all on me."

Panel 3: The scene cuts back to the husky, with a close up on their face. The Narration reads, "But... They're just so much happier like this."

Panel 4: The camera continues to pan down until their face is out of frame. The narration concludes, "No... it was never about me, was it? All of this has been for them. There's something I still need to do."
