One of the great “what the F*** were they thinking?” tour merch items of all time from @arabstrap.scot here. A head scratcher.

A screenshot of a scarf celebrating The First Big Weekend, which is fine. But the text on the scarf reads “Scotland 0 - 2 England” which was the Euro 96 result (with that Gazza goal). And that game isn’t one that us Scots should be keen to memorialise, even if it does get a mention in your band’s (fantastic) debut single. Just an odd choice all round really. Maybe the oddest bit of tour merch I’ve seen since I saw Spiritualized on the Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space tour and they were selling all white polo shirts (they looked like badminton shirts but I think the idea was they were something you’d find in a chemists).
