nanami (leaving the apartment): "be good girls. don't do strange things!" the good girls:

Grainy night-vision surveillance footage of a modern apartment kitchen at 1:37 AM. The image has a green infrared tint, with a timestamp in the upper-right corner and the filename “DCR_27183.jpg” in the upper-left. A black cat with glowing reflective eyes sits on the edge of a kitchen island in the foreground, staring directly at the camera. A second identical black cat sits on the floor in the center of the room, also facing the camera with bright, eerie eyes. On the right side, a fluffy cream-colored long-haired cat is halfway disappearing into a glowing circular portal embedded in the kitchen cabinets; only its hindquarters, tail, and back remain visible outside the portal. In the dark doorway beyond the kitchen, a third hidden black cat is almost completely concealed by shadow, visible only as a faint pair of reflective eyes watching from the darkness. The scene looks unsettling but realistic, like security footage capturing a strange supernatural event involving cloned cats and an interdimensional portal.

we managed to recover the last data the surveillance cam recorded. good news: this behavior probably indicates an amount of psychic power that is greater than that of the average cat. congrats to lily and her duplicates!

bad news: after those frames, the recording keeps looping this static pattern. we still don't know what happened.
