Seeing Talib's 16-day crashout about being a transphobe has me calling this the "Maus Principle": the trauma that systemic bigotry causes has coin-flip odds of making you either extremely perceptive when it affects others, or just a selfish dick who only hates bigotry when it happens to *you*.
