Painful read Trump is chair- chair participates but authority is the whole board- president is not chair- president role is to appoint the board- BUT president oversees advisory committee- so the president is the overseer of the chair- thus executive privilege for all

Trump's role as chair is not the same as his role as president; therefore privilege is not applicable. It is not the president's role to chair the Kennedy Center.

I am but a layperson, but if the KC isn’t in the exec branch and if being chairperson isn’t a role that comes with being president, then isn’t he chairperson in his personal capacity as kind of a hobby and therefore wouldn’t none of the discovery be privileged?
