@mldavies.bsky.socialOkay. We all know that Gilbert Cruz, former EIC of the Book Review, is now "Canon Editor" at the Times. Lots of us have been critical of this, both because "Canon Editor" is an absurd title and because the Book Review still does not have an EIC. (Someone is doing the job on an interim basis.)
