#RemyReviews 'Forbidden Planet' (1956) • 70 Years Later looking back on the development & legacy of the Shakespearean #scifi classic that brought the Golden Age to the screen & changed everything, maybe inspiring #StarTrek my retro #movie #review @framerated.co.uk 🛸 medium.com/framerated/f...

four film stills: United Planets Starship C-57D preparing to land on Altair IV in ‘Forbidden Planet’; Jack Kelly as Farman, blaster in hand, Warren Stevens as “Doc” Ostrow, Leslie Nielsen as Commander Adams, all wearing grey military style uniforms; Leslie Nielsen again talking to Walter Pidgeon as Dr Morbius with Robby the Robot and Anne Francis as Altaira Morbius wearing a mini-dress in the background in a Modernist interior; a marvellous matte painting of the vast alien machinery of the Krell with three tiny figures walking past a row of glowing spheres along a long platform.
