Recently decided to try my hand at poetry again. It’s been ages for me, since college English required it. Dedicated to my muse and love 💕 #poem #ExpressYourself

A screenshot of a poem written on docs. It reads:

Who is like him?
The man with hair like rays of the Sun
Caught in mortal coil
Yet he turns his face from that of Sols
Towards the shadows
Why the very marrow of his soul verily
Answers the call

After all,
What has the Sun to offer him
That hasn’t already
Yielded to the Night enshrouded o’er his skin?
Come to me—
Thee that quickens the mind, for
Who is like him?
