Omg this is adorable Uncanny X-men 98. If anyone knows the proper terms for the coats they''re wearing, let me know. I'm struggling to write good alt text and would love to learn.

Page from Uncanny X-men 98. The X-men are gathered in front of an ice skating rink and a Christmas tree, dressed in cozy winter clothing. Notable details: Nightcrawler is in his terrible human disguise complete with bad mustache, his jacket has cute toggles. Storm is wearing a beautiful pure white parka. Jean is center frame in a stunning blue parka with toggles, it looks extra cozy with the hood up. Cyclops is in a full suit and overcoat complete with tye and casual sunglasses, looking at Jean and kind of brooding. Wolverine's jacket is olive drab and open in the cold. He's turned towards Jean and looks forlorn, perhaps hinting at unstated feelings. Banshee and Moira are chatting, Banshee seems really happy about that.

Another view of Jean's sick coat. Uncanny X-men 98

Panel from Uncanny X-men 98. Side view of Jean's stunning blue parka. We can see the edges are lined with fur and she's wearing boots with heels. She's imploring Scott to relax and kiss her rather than brooding over her brother's betrayal.

I didn't realize Stan Lee cameos were a thing in the comics. Uncanny X-men 98.

Panels from Uncanny X-men 98. Jean and Scott kiss passionately. In a third wall break Stan Lee and Jacky Kirby look on in shock and horror, commenting that Scott and Jean never kissed like that when they had the book.
