... I didn't use "the will of the people" as an argument. My point was that you can't use "the will of the people" as an argument ... for Ford and yes for Chow. Good thing I never said that Ford should leave bike lanes alone because it is the will of the people as determined by the (mayoral) ballot

The bike lanes are a regional/prov issue, not municipal, since (a) they affect arterial roads that are part of the transport'n network supporting the regional economy & (b) T.O. can't support itself financially w/o the province. Money is fungible, so those bike lanes were paid for by all Ontarians.
