Pink text on a dark pink background that reads:

Haurchefant could scarcely believe what he just heard. She didn't trust chirurgeons? To treat a simple sprained ankle?

"Forgive my bluntness, but what in the seven hells do you mean you will tend to your own injuries?"

"It's just a sprained ankle, Haurchefant. I'll be fine in no time."

"And I have trained staff who treat wounds far more grievous than a hurting foot. Fewer in Eorzea are more accomplished battle medics than those of Ishgard." Though Altheia knew he couldn't see her face, she raised an eyebrow anyway. He rarely spoke ill of anyone, and while she did find this trait of his endearing and refreshing from their initial experiences with Ishgardian "hospitality", it only served to maintain her suspicion.

"If you were the one tending to my wounds, I'd trust you." Haurchefant smirked despite himself.

"Is that a statement or a flirtation?" Altheia scoffed, looking away. In hindsight, it did sound a little flirty. "Frivolity aside, while your faith in me is appreciated, I am no medic, and first aid is not a substitute for proper medical attention."

"You earned my trust. They haven't."
