I regret not totally maximizing the ram in my framework 16. I got 64GB as it was a happy medium. I naively figured it'd be cheaper later on. Little did I know the AI bubble was still to come!

It's nuts. I bought 128gb of ddr4 like 18 months ago because it was only like 220 bucks. Now that exact same ram which is obsolete is 1249.99.

That was always the plan. They know this stuff can run on home computers for free, that would kill hyperscaling. If you jack up the price, turn everyone into renters, you can profit forever. It's not different than real estate. They are capitalist vampires.
