If that’s true, it’s even more proof that we’re not a fascist country. Fascist leaders don’t back down to their own generals.
@robindescamp.bsky.socialThat’s not why Trump caved. It seems much more likely to me he was told by the generals and other high-ups in the armed forces that they would not comply with his orders, and he needed to make sure that news never got out.
