I've seen some trans ladies with larger accounts talking about having to deal with trolls and harassment. They're drawing heat that those of us with fewer followers don't have to deal with. Can't block people if they make a new account everyday to harass you.

I believe one can control who can reply to their posts on bluesky? Or am i mistaken

You can limit replies to people you're following. The downside is that cuts down engagement considerably. The thread I saw was limited, which meant that I couldn't interact because she doesn't follow me. BlueSky is much less interesting if you can only interact with people you already know.
